Eligibility Criteria for MRCGP [INT] in Family Medicine

MRCGP [INT] Family Medicine course aims at capacity building of practicing doctors and also for preparation of doctors who are out of practice for various reasons

  • Three years clinical experience required

  • Valid PMC certificate

  • MBBS from recognized medical institution

  • House job completion certificate

Examination

Exam Structure

The MRCGP [INT] South Asia consists of two distinct examinations designed to assess your knowledge and clinical competence at an international standard.

Part 1

Applied Knowledge Test (AKT)

Two hundred single best answer questions delivered on computer. Ninety percent clinical medicine, ten percent research and evidence-based practice. Tests your ability to apply knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Part 2

OSCE Examination

Fourteen active stations, ten minutes each. Evaluates clinical reasoning, communication skills, physical examination technique, and practical decision-making under examination conditions.
